You may have heard stories about Troy Bolton, Gabriella Montez, Sharpay Evans, Ryan Evans, Chad Danforth and Taylor McKessie, and the rest of the East High Wildcats. To others, they may sound like average students, but to many of you, they are legends. They broke through the status quo by one event. Jocks, cheerleaders, geeks, drama kings, and every clique has came together and brought a whole new view on everything. But what happens after when everything went to chaos?
Matters of law and morality are given a soft swipe during the series; many questionable or even disturbing actions are either treated as unimportant, hilarious or romantic. Given the age of the intended audience, one has to wonder at the screenwriter’s state of mind.
🐾 Season 1 follows East High School of romance, drama, humor, and flat out insanity. News spreads quickly throughout this school and everyone knows other people's business unless they do a good enough job of hiding it. The chaotic season also follows teenager Troy Bolton, in his quest to uncover the story behind his new friend, Brett Shimura, about his abusive home-life and life of bullying. It is a part-prequel, part-perspective flip from Troy’s friends’ and characters’ point-of-view. This season tells more of their backstories prior to the Pilot, and the hijinks they got up to off-screen during the rest of it.
🐾 Season 2 is TBA.
